Tips for Assisting Elderly Neighbors

I have a terminal illness now but never realized the neighbors in my housing community really appreciated the small things I did when I was well. Picked up trash around our cul-de-sac and surrounding area when landscaping was to busy, put neighbors trash cans by their garage door from the street when I knew they weren't feeling good also took care of neighbors cat when she was in the hospital. I started seeing baked banana bread, a knock at my door with individual containers of homemade chicken soup and getting offers from a few to take me to the store or Dr's if needed. I volunteered for hospice cancer patients at the age of 15, at the age of 16 got my first job as a nursing asst, went to college and became a Respiratory Therapist, I did that FT and kept 1 patient doing home health still as a CNA. My epilepsy got horrible and was forced out of that career. Even being terminal I help people from home 3 days a wk/ 4hrs to get transportation to and from their appts. No matter how I feel they motivate me to get up🥰❤️🥰
